Mr. Tateiwa has been a board member of MFI since 2011 and was named CEO in October 2013. Mr. Tateiwa has extensive experience in the food industry, starting as a grain trader, developing online market research business in food consumption, and investments. He also has experience in human resources, developing global HR policies and teaching more than 200 trainees through Mitsui’s global HR development programs.
Mr. Tateiwa holds a B.A. from The George Washington University (Washington, D.C.) and M.B.A. from Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis.
